San Antonio SSC Softball Information and Registration

2015 SPRING SOFTBALL STARTING DATE:
Sunday, April 12th (All games played on Sundays)
Monday, April 13th  (All games played on Mondays)
Wednesday, April 1st (All games played on Wednesdays)

STARTING TIMES:
12:00pm – 9:30pm (Sundays) – Rusty Lyons & Tony Martinez Fields
6:30pm-9:30pm – (Mondays) – Rusty Lyons Softball Complex
6:30pm-9:30pm – (Wednesdays) – Mission Concepcion Sports Park

REGISTRATION OPENS:
Sunday & Monday: Monday, March 2nd 

Wednesday: Monday, February 9th

REGISTRATION ENDS:
Sunday & Monday: Friday, March 27th

Wednesday: Friday, March 6th

**All registrations are processed on a first come, first serve basis – many sports fill up before the stated deadline so it is highly recommended to register before the final day!**

T-SHIRT PICK-UP & HAPPY HOUR:
Sunday & Monday : TBA at The Hangar (8203 Broadway)

Wednesday: TBA

SEASON:
Each team will play 6 regular season games. Play-offs will start the week after the end of the regular season. The number of teams in each league to make the playoffs varies per season.

LOCATIONS:
Sunday – Rusty Lyons Softball Fields #1 & #2 (click here for directions)
Sunday – Tony “Skipper” Martinez Field (click here for directions)
Monday – Rusty Lyons Softball Fields #1 & #2 (click here for directions)
Wednesday – Mission Concepcion Sports Park (click here for directions)
LEAGUE FEES:
$48 for an individual looking to be placed on a team.
$495 for a team of up to 12 players and $41.25 for each additional player after 12.
League fee includes all equipment (aside from bats & gloves), umpires, a San Antonio SSC tee shirt for each participant, as well as food & drink specials at our sponsoring bar.

PAYMENT:
Use the secure link below. If signing up a team, only a $200 deposit is required.
The remaining funds are due at the T-shirt pickup.

FORMAT:
Two divisions – social (for players with softball skills) and super social (for players with limited softball skills). 10 players on the field at a time, at least 4 of them must be women. Each team must provide their own bats (ASA certified) & gloves (Click here for full rules)

NOTE FOR INDIVIDUALS:
If you are signing up with a small group of friends and want to be kept on the same team (if you do not have enough to form your own team), there is a line on the registration form for “teammate requests”. Just list all names on that line, and you will be kept together.
