For those of you that have never seen Passenger 57 with Wesley Snipes, do yourself a favor and go buy a copy today. It may be hard to find however, being that it is known by its cult following as the greatest movie achievement of all time and one of the biggest Academy Award snubs ever after not winning best picture in 1992.

Bowligerent is the now the lone undefeated team in the SSC 2010 Winter Bowling League. They are a group of individuals that seem to have intimidated the entire league with their black uniforms. With two more wins against No “F in Strikes” and the Oil Barons Society, Bowligerent now stands at 6-0 and is one win away from securing one of the four playoff spots up for grabs this week. Bowligerent needs to beat Hot Mess in their 7:30 game, as they do not want the daunting tasks of having to beat Holy Guacabowly in the 8:30 contest this week.

The Boozin Bowlers took a big step in being playoff eligible last week as they handed We Like It Ruff a 9 pin defeat 544-535, Ruff’s first defeat of the season. The Boozin Bowlers were primed to take over the fourth seed heading into the final week of the regular season, but Ruff rebounded extremely quickly from their first loss of the year and bowled a season team high 587 to beat Holy Guacabowly in the second leg of the doubleheader. With Holy Guacabowly knocking off the Pin Pals, which was a battle of two 4-0 teams at the time, there is now a three way tie for second place in the standings. Even though the Boozin Bowlers are currently on the outside looking in, if they sweep their two games this week they are playoff bound. Boozin would hold the tie-breaker over both Ruff and the Pin Pals, as they have already beat Ruff and face the Pals this Tuesday.

While Boozin, Ruff, and the Pin Pals battle over the final two playoff spots, Holy Guacabowly will attempt to keep Bowligerent out of the record books by derailing their perfect season, while at the same time securing the #1 seed heading into the playoffs.
