Bowligerent on a Roll

Since an opening game 38 pin loss to Winona Stole My Dignity, Bowligerent has ripped off five straight impressive performances. During their current five game streak, Bowligerent has averaged over 521 pins per game and beat three of their opponents by over 100 pins. Bowling With the Homies suffred their first loss of the season to the red hot Bowligerent team, and fell to second place in the standings with just 2 regular season games to play. Both teams only need a split (no pun intended) in their final 2 games to clinch a playoff berth and battle for the Astro Bowl Bar Tab on March 31st. The Pinheads have put themselves back in the driver’s seat for the 4th and final playoff spot with two big wins last week. It was a much needed night after having to square off against the top two teams in the previous week. The Pinheads now control their own destiny, and will stamp their ticket into the postseason with wins in their final two. I Can’t believe It’s Not Gutter is just one game behind the Pinheads for the #4 seed, and the 8:30 battle between the two could be a possible play-in game for the final playoff spot. Gutter has lost 2 of their last 3, however those games were all against the top 3 teams in the standings and Gutter is eager to avenge a week 1 loss to the Pinheads. Up Your Alley still has an outside shot to make the postseason, but will need to put an end to Bowligerent’s streak and get some help from some of the other teams to advance.
