Scrubbing Away the Competition!

The Wednesday night league has crowned it's Champion - congratulations to the Scrub Sox who defeated The Outsiders by a score of 9-5 to claim the San Antonio SSC Summer Softball Crown!

After both teams run-ruled their first-round opponents, the stage was set for the rematch of between the two top-ranked teams who battled to a 7-7 tie back in week #3.

The Scrub Sox rocketed their way to an 8-run lead with an inning to go only to watch as The Outsiders clawed their way back into the game. But The Outsiders fell short in their comeback bid and the Scrub Sox put down the rally to claim the victory.

Congratulations to the Scrub Sox (Wednesday), the Bad News Beers (Thursday - Social), and Norfolk N. Wayman (Thursday - Super Social)...2008 Summer Softball Champions!
