Slap My Pass against Flaggin Ballz was another great game. Slap My Pass was able to redeem themselves with a victory after their tough loss, with a final score of 29-26.

The game of the night was between, the returning champions The Bench Warmers, and the newcomers, Dat Pass Tho. This competitive game came down to the last drive of the night. Early on, Dat Pass Tho’s defense held the The Benchwarmers offense twice to turnover the ball and take the early lead. It was a game everyone was watching and had a lot of excitement. In the end Dat Pass Tho was able to get the win with a 28-26 victory.

We had Trilluminati Returns who nearly had everyone on their team score to defeat The Goon Squad 40-7.

KDM remains undefeated as they were able to defeat Urban Legends 32-16, which was a close game the first half but Urban Legendz struggled to drive the ball the second half.

Out Here Ballin and The Brady Bunch was also a good game in the first half but The Brady Bunch did not show up with, a much needed, Tom Brady, as they were defeated 45-19.

We are going into the second half of the season and it is within everyone’s reach to be the last team standing on the podium.

It was a nice environment tonight. Week 3 is here and teams are starting to focus on where they will rank for the playoffs. Some of the socializing is slowing down, as the competitive spirit comes out, but overall its been a nice season.

Week 3 games were fun to watch. There were a few really good games.  TD’s and Beer played their hearts out and were able to upset the highly ranked team Last Minute, and they beat them in the last minute for a nice dose of irony. With time expiring, TD’s and Beer scored and held on to win 29-28.

The Immobilizers took on Sacks and Racks. This seemed to be in favor of Sacks and Racks but mistakes cost them and the Immobilizers took advantage and were able to pull out a 26-20 victory.

Game of the night was between Old Timers vs Back That Pass Up. This one went back and forth, as both offenses couldn’t be stopped and it looked to come down to who would have the ball last.  With less then 2 minutes left, Old Timers went the length of the field and scored to take the lead and only left 2 seconds for Back that Pass up to make a play and they fell short.  Old Timers stay undefeated, with a 36-28 victory.

We had some good games in the first week, with a lot of teams needing a little time to knock the rust off and get back in the swing of things.

The season kicked off with a great game, our feature of the night, as We Touchdown There took on Flaggin Ball Z. At the end of the game, Flaggin Ball Z went up by one point and held on to win the game 22-21. It was an awesome game and we hope to have many more during the season.

Last pass into the end endzone was tipped by the defense in the air, offensive player grabbed the ball after the tip but was out of bounds. It was a nail biter until the very end.

The last game of the night, Flaming Balls v Out Here Balling, was also good. Flaming Balls was able to overcome 3 interceptions by the QB and down 22-12 at halftime to win 31-28 by making a last second defensive stand at the goal line.

Sacks and Racks is our social team of the week. They had a double header on the field and hung out all night. From their first game which was early to their last game which was the late game, they went 1-1 for the night and had a great time socializing with old teammates and talking a little trash.

We had some great games tonight, with the game of the night featuring, 5 Fingers Later vs Chad & Boujee. This game was stacked with athletes and great defense as well as offense.  These teams went back and forth the entire game and the difference was the female plays. 5 Fingers Later found a way to score on their gender plays nearly every chance they had and walked away with a 22-20 victory.

It was a great first week of flag football at Olmos Park as all games came down to the last drive with so much excitement.

First game of the night we had Flaming Balls against The Goon Squad which went back and forth with big defensive stops. In the end, Flaming Balls was able to get the win with one last drive to finish 22-14.

Next game of the night was between The Brady Bunch against Urban Legendz, which was a high scoring game, as both teams made some big plays. Urban Legends were able to score on their last drive to be able to take the W with a score of 26-25. Urban Legendz winning their other game this evening, and being the only team with a double header this week, jumped out ahead of the pack with a 2-0 start to the season.

We have a great season of flag football ahead and it is anyone’s game to win a championship.

Social highlight of the night goes to Old Timers. These guys had the 1st game and the last game of the night. On a double header night they played two of the top teams in their division and beat them both and had a great time doing it. They were social and fun and made it a really nice night.

Some great matchups got the season off to a lively start, in particular Old Timers vs Chad & Boujee. This was a repeat of last seasons championship, but with a different outcome. Old Timers stepped up their game and played their strategy to exact specifications. They were able to control the ball and score with less then 14 seconds in the first half. The second half was more of the same, as they worked the ball down the field and scored and didn’t turn the ball over. They walked away with a great victory in week 1, 34-28.

It was a great final week of the regular season as many teams came out to fight for a playoff spot at Olmos Park! 5 Fingers Later are certainly looking to defend their title to boast back-to-back status. In order to accomplish that, they would need to defeat Trilluminati, which they did by a score of 36-5.

The game of the night was Aztec Warriors against Pop Dat Booty, which went back and forth with different lead changes in the first half and was the game we all expected. But Pop Dat Booty was able to pull off the win with many defensive turnovers that resulted in touchdowns by a score of 38-26.  It will be a very interesting playoff as all teams are coming for one goal only to win the ‘Ship! Best of luck to all of our teams in the final week!

Booty and the Beast

It was a great night of flag football at Olmos Park as Week Four had all teams on top of their game. We had a very close game between the XXXecutioners against 3rd Down for What. 3rd Down For What’s quarterback was very tough to stop as XXXecutioners could not stop his run, but the XXXecutioners had one of their females take over the game as they were able to pull the win with a 37-36 win.

Booty and The Beast had their very first close game against Flag Me Even Harder as some turnovers kept Flag Me Even Harder in the game and fell short of a win as Booty and The Beast were able to pull the win 38-32. We have had some great games so far and looking to one season for the books!

If you missed us last week, make sure to join us at the Hofbrau following each of our games!
