After having a week off in between games, teams came out ready to improve on their first week’s performances!
The recent addition of the handicap system was put in place in hopes to make a more competitive season, and so far it has done just that. Week One featured an unprecedented tie and Week Two added five games that ended with teams within 11 pins of one another.
Spareless Whisper found themselves in two of those games. They were amazingly consistent through their three games which helped their handicap and when all the numbers were put into a blender they came out victorious by one pin and 11 pins in those games. Those results were good enough to get them to the top of the standings and guarantee them a spot in the playoffs. They are joined at the top by Lucky Strikes, whose identical 5-1 record well also see them through to the playoffs.
However, the final two spots are still up for grabs as each team has at least a slim shot at playing for the championship. Redemption Strikes seemed to have given themselves an edge into one of those spots as Cory started off his third game by bowling five straight strikes. However, when the handicaps were added up they would be one of the teams that would fall by a narrow margin. Still, there is everything left to play for in Week Three.
