It was a good night for Week One of Flag Football at Olmos as many teams came out for some fun on the gridiron!
To get things started, Pop Dat Booty, a team full of familiar faces, faced the also returning, Catchin’ TD’s & L’s. While one would anticipate that this should have been a close match-up, Pop Dat Booty was very aggressive and displayed lockdown defense over Catching TD’s & L’s. The first half and came out with a victory of 34-12.
5 Fingers Later are starting the season exactly how they finished their season last year with a victory over Aztec Warriors with a score of 28-6. KDM is looking for redemption after last season devastating lost in the championship as they came out firing with a 45-8 victory over Flagaholics. There are going to be some great games coming up this coming season so come out and enjoy some old fashion flag football on Tuesday night and don’t forget to bring your Bud Light and Michelob Ultras!
