Week One of Flag Football at Olmos Park was a great one as many teams came out to play on the Gridiron. Booty and the Beast against The Bench Warmers was a repeat of last season’s championship game as both teams went back and forth exchanging scores but Booty and The Beast had a big day with interceptions to seal the game with a victory. We had a very close game between 3rd Down for What against Kiss My End Zone which came down to the last drive with only four seconds left in the game! 3rd Down For What at the five-yard line needed a gender play left to win the game. Kiss My End Zone stopped them the first time around but a costly defensive penalty caused 3rd Down For What to retry on gender which leads to a game winning touchdown! The final in this one, 26-19.
It was a great day of flag football and looks like its going to be a great season.
