| The final week of the season came and brought with it a night of very good games.
The first game of the night saw Hump Day Heroes and Hotball Bling square off in a rematch from earlier in the season. In the first meeting Hump Day were able to trounce the opposition however this game was much tighter. Hotball Bling started out with some great defense, escaping from a bases loaded situation. Hump Day would be able to score the odd run here and there but they were not able to get their typical big inning. In the 6th inning Hotball Bling was able to cut the score to 5-4 but that was as close as they could get it, coming up just short.
The second game of the night was the first of the night for Kick Duck Safe. they had the double header for the night and came out firing against Ballbarians. Kick Duck Safe was able to over come a ghost out every time throught their order. Ballbarians made a valiant attempt to come back in the final inning but were only able to score one run.
In the nightcap Kick Duck Safe took on Kickin Aint Easy. In a reverse of the first game Kick Duck Safe would get their 3rd girl and Kickin Aint Easy would be taking a ghost out. This game was a defensive struggle with neither team able to string too many hits together. When they were able to get runners on base they found themselves hitting into outs at second base. Kickin Aint Easy was able to take advantage of a few errant throws to take home a 3-0 win. |
