The playoffs are now over and we have crowned our champs. Strong Hard D did what they have been doing all season, playing that solid defense that keeps them in games and owning their opponents on offense to keep those runs coming in. They went on to win their Championship and stay undefeated throughout the season.
Insert Team Name Here also came out and did what this veteran team always does, they play at the highest skill level we have and they easily went on to win their championship in a 9-2 game. Great job to Lick My Bunt, they have continued to improve season after season, working their way from a Super social team to competing with the best we have to offer, they will keep getting better and make things difficult for everyone else.
Ball Is Life also came out ready to win a title, they easily went through Kekamba and waited to see the winner of Straight Kickin It vs Pinnacle Powerhouse. This had to be the game of the night, it went into five extra innings and both teams played solid defense keeping the other from scoring that one single run that could end the game. But eventually someone had to score and Pinnacle Powerhouse took advantage of a loose ball and scored, well Straight Kickin It as the home team had the last bat and with a girl, on second they failed to move her over and score.
Ball Is Life owned the championship game winning 6-2 to knock off Pinnacle Powerhouse for the title. It was a great championship series and kept everyone on their toes the whole time.
