STAR Complex
Our game highlight of the night was between Run FDIC and Swift Kick in the Grass. Both teams are stacked defensively, so this game lived up to expectations! Swift Kick jumped off to an early start, leading 2-1 at the end of the first inning. Neither team was able to penetrate the defense, both teams getting blanked for five innings, when FDIC was able to break the stalemate, to tie 2-2 going into the final inning. Due to some phenomenal base running, and kicks, FDIC was able to score, making it 3-2. Swift Kick made a valiant effort, but couldn’t score. Run FDIC came out with the win, 3-2.
