Maximum Effort received a case of beer this evening, as they had been named Social Team of the Month! They were excited to put the case to good use.
Our game highlight was between Maximum Effort and Pump Up Kicks. Maximum Effort is one of our newer teams, but have steadily been improving each week. However, Kicks came out of the gate looking to make a mark, and certainly did. In the first three innings, they managed to put up 13 points. Facing a mercy rule, Maximum Effort put two runners on, and then a female batter sent one over the fence for a home run! It was too little, too late, however, and Pump Up Kicks came out on top, 15-3.
