Dark clouds threatened to dampen playoffs last night, but the rain held off and it was a great night out at Factory of Champions.
During our quarter finals, Sand Jobs took on Dirty Sets and this first amazing game set the tone for the rest of the night. Dirty Sets was able to hold off Sand Jobs and advance to the next round winning in three sets. Then, they faced Mita’s Balls next and bested them in two, ensuring their spot in the finals.
Net Raiders took on Balls and Dolls in the semi finals. Balls and Dolls beat them earlier in the season and this rematch was amazing. Pushing to three sets, Net Raiders took it down to the wire but managed to hold Balls and Dolls off, winning 15-10.
This set up Dirty Sets to take on top ranked Net Raiders in the finals. Net Raiders had amazing coverage on the sand and didn’t let anything drop. Dirty Sets had a strong serve game and kept up for most of the match. Net Raiders were able to close the match in two sets and taking the title as Spring I Champions!
