Last One Sandy
Our Social Team of the Week goes out to Last One Sandy! A great team made up of old and new players, Last One Sandy came early and hung out late at Sideliners. Always a team with a great attitude, Last One Sandy celebrated a win and meeting new friends last night out at Sideliners.
The first season of the year out at Sideliners brought new teams and old teams out and made for a great Week One!
Our featured game of the night goes to Let’s Taco Bout It and Dat Ace Doe. Both teams are seasoned Sideliners teams that came out hungry for the first victory of the season. The first set of the night was a close one as both teams worked to get back into the swing of things. Let’s Taco Bout It kept it close, but Dat Ace Doe was just able to squeeze them out with the final points, 25-20. Let’s Taco Bout It came back in the second set and battled to an early lead with strong serves and great coverage on the sand. They were able to push for a third set and closed out, 25-21. They carried that momentum into the third set and held Dat Ace Doe to 5 points, winning the game 15-5.
If this week was any indication of what we can expect this season, we’re in for a real treat! We’re looking forward to it!
