Block Party
Week Five is in the books and teams were battling it out for the last few playoff spots but were having a lot of fun doing it.
Social Team of the week was Block Party. They came to the game and was very social before and after their games with other teams. During their game, their mascot and biggest cheerleader had both teams laughing and having a blast.
Our featured game of the tonight was between two undefeated teams battling it out for sole possession atop the standings. It was the showdown as it was the final game of the night, and to get it started Deez Nets was already at a disadvantage being down one player. Hit It and Quit It jumped quickly the advantage play going up early 9-2. Deez Nets settled down and started the come back with great serves and went on a roll, forcing Hit It and Quit It to take a timeout. After the timeout, Deez Nets sixth player finally arrived. This is when the long rallies started to happen and there were some great saves and defensive plays from both teams. Hit It kept the game close and never stopped fighting, but Deez Nets took the victory in two sets.
