And that’s Spring I in the books! Playoff day and even a little rain could put a damper on the playoffs, but not these great Tuesday night teams! We would like to say thank you to all the teams we had come out this season and hope to see you back next time!
Playoffs began fast and furiously with Dat Ace Doe facing Last One Sandy. These two teams played three very close sets featuring spectacular dives, digs, and spikes galore. In the end, Last One Sandy was the victorious one and moved on to the finals. Game two featured Accenture Aces and Serving Cervezas. This was another battle of three sets in which you couldn’t turn your back for a second. The lead changes were plentiful and the amazing plays wouldn’t stop. Serving Cervezas was able to make a mini run in set three, but Accenture Aces was able to close them out and move onto the championship.
This bring us to Accenture Aces vs Last One Sandy, pitted #2 vs #1, respectfully. The first set stayed close, but some mental errors by Last One Sandy and some good capitalization from Accenture Aces led them to victory. Accenture Aces kept the foot on the peddle in set two and was able to pick up where they left off from their last time in the league and secure set two for the championship! Congratulations on a great season to Accenture Aces and don’t spend that gift card all at once!
