Sandy Bumps! (Friday’s)

With the season nearing it’s end it seems as if we have the playoff teams set after a late rally by Spiked Punch came up short.

Earlier in the night Spikological Warfare picked up an important win over Notorious DIG via forfeit which left Spiked Punch with some work to do to keep up in the standings. They took on Sand Blasters in the second game of the night. Punch found themselves on the back foot to start the set but managed to claw their way back into the match. That rally was a bit too little too late as they fell 25-19. They did use that momentum in the second set though as they were able to scratch out a 25-23 win to force a third set. Unfortunately for them, the third set was not kind to them as they were never able to find a foothold and fell 15-4.

Next week we will be treated to the finale of the suspended match between Bumpin Uglies 🙂 and Summer Lovin. After both teams won their Week Five match-ups they will look to remain undefeated as they look to finish set three of their previous match.
