Pitches Be Crazy
After a Week One that saw some high scoring games, teams entered Week Two either hoping to continue their hot streak or get their offensive rhythm going tonight.
Tonight we feature newcomers, The Oddballs, and Pitches Be Crazy. Pitches had a big game last week, and sadly for the Oddballs, Pitches be Crazy picked up where they left off in Week One. Crazy’s bats just always seemed to find the open spot in the field, but they had trouble converting early. While the Oddballs were able to get a few runners on base, their bats grew silent at the crucial moments and they fell 13-0.
The second game of the evening was the closest we’ve had so far in the young season. 99 Problems started the game off against Fluff N Tuff on the right foot taking an early lead. They actually held the lead for a while after a pair of explosive first couple of innings. However. Fluff N Tuff managed to consistently pick up runs as the game progressed. Eventu, lly their consistency paid off as they were able to take the lead after 99 Problems bats grew silent, they emerged victorious 13-9.
Best of luck to all of our teams in Week Three!
