As the season begins to wind down at STAR Soccer complex, our Wednesday night teams bring out all the stops to clinch their playoff standings!
Game of the night goes to Likely to Win a Game and Rebels.
These teams were evenly matched and the first half showed it as they both had near goals and strong defense. Rebels were able to go up 2-1, but Likely to Win a Game came back with two quick scores, which would put them up 3-1. They were able to get a final goal in the waning minutes of the half and went into half time up, 4-2. Both teams seemed to have left their energy in the first half as neither were able to score in the second. Likely to Win a Game takes this one, 4-2.
