After last week’s playoff dress rehearsal, teams came out with one goal in mind, to leave Friday night a winner.
After having to forfeit last week Spikologocal Warfare came out with more players and the intent to avenge their loss. Sadly Summer Luvin had ideas of their own on the matter. They were dominate in the first set winning 15-3. While the did give up a few more points in the second set they could easily afford to and were still able to win comfortably, 15-5.
Also coming in with the idea of revenge wad Bumpin Uglies. They had a fairly rough Week Six, losing the third set to Summer Luvin and falling in three to Sand Blasters. They were hoping for a chance to beat both teams in the playoffs. To start they took on Sand Blasters. Three sets would not be needed in this one as Bumpin Uglies was able to start each of the first two sets out strong and then could go point for point for a 2-0 victory.
With one loss avenged could Bumpin Uglies make up for the other against Summer Luvin? Unfortunately for them, they could not. Luvin was able to turn the table on Bumpin Uglies by starting off strong and trading points. They did that to start the first two sets and were able to walk away with the championship, the bar tab and the picture with the champ banner for the whole world to see. Congrats!
